“ Went in for some drinks and dinner. Wasnt served where I first sat so I moved and eventually the bartender came over too busy talking with females. The place wasnt busy but I had to wait over 5 minutes each time between drinks and finally got tired of it and left without trying the food. I thought atmosphere was cool and the food looked good I just wish the service was better at the bar. Edit Tried this place again, great service and great appetizers. ”

“ A nice and relaxing alternative to the commercial happy hour fare typical in the area. The bartenders ladies were professional, attentive and happy to make recommendations. There is a nice craft beer selection, a full bar and wine, and at reasonable prices. The food choices range from standard fare like fish and chips, burgers and chicken wings, to slightly more interesting, like crispy pork belly. I suppose the only item that wasnt bad at all, but not something Id order again, would be the crab cakes. The atmosphere is pleasant. There is a television with sports, but the noise level overall is more than subdued enough to have a conversation with friends. The bar itself is airy with part of the seating facing the patio. A nice, refreshing pubrestaurant to visit. ”

“ We had quite the unfortunate but fortunate experience here today at the local peasant. Thank you guys so much for helping me and my mom out tonight! While parking a little ways down from the restaurant, me and my mother were harassed and followed by a crazy homeless man. We were eventually able to seek shelter inside the restaurant, where we were kindly assisted and comforted by the staff inside! The staff made sure that we were comfortable and were unharmed, and checked in on us frequently even after the homeless man had left. The staff even offered to escort us to our vehicle when we were done with our meal which was delicious Huge shout out to Cayden who escorted me and my mother to our car like a true gentleman. We Appreciate it and the manager for checking in with us. I loved coming here before but I absolutely appreciate the hardworking stuff. Thank you guys. ”

“ A few months ago, I had an event at The Local Peasant. It was easy to book a brunch and we had a private room. The food was delicious and the drinks were great and plentiful. The cost was very reasonable as well. They have a number of different packages and options available when you reach out. I would highly recommend The Local Peasant for your event. Also have stopped by before for drinks, dinner, and brunch. All great offerings! ”

“ This is a really fun place to go and have a get together with friends and family. We had a very enjoyable time with very comfortable seats. The food was delicious and the drinks were handcrafted and very good. We tried the peach Pizza which was interesting and delicious. The peanut butter chocolate spread for the pretzels is yummy ”

“ We went there for a rehearsal dinner. We had our own private room, which was nice. Service was great! Our waitress was working her tail off! The Slushy Mai Tais were great! My glass was never empty They started off with appetizers, which were very good, then a buffet style dinner, with salad, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts and delicious fried chicken. We had a great time! Very nice local place! ”
